Interactive SMS and Email Routing
The Interactive SMS and Email Routing module provides the ability to receive and respond to communication with the user wherever they are via SMS, or via email being auto-forwarded to your mobile phone.
- Interactive SMS and email Routing
Maintains immediate and direct communication, by forwarding pertinent information to your mobile phone. The system boasts the ability to receive and reply to email or SMS from your mobile phone based on a set of rules that you define.
Coretalk endeavours to get important information to the user where ever they are. It recognises that while email is prevalent as a communication tool, it is not generally accessible to persons who are not desk bound. This may result in important information not being received by a user in time for it to be acted upon. For this reason Coretalk provides a number of methods of relaying selected information in both directions through the most mobile communication tool in an individual's communication artillery, their cell phone.
You receive the first 160 line of your email, plus sender and title
- Attachments cannot be sent, however the subject of the mail is given.
- You can define who can be forwarded. Or even select from the subject line.
- You can also respond via SMS, which will then send an email response as if you had typed it!
The features include:
- Email forwarding
Coretalk allows the user to set up forwarding parameters by which selected emails or email content may be forwarded to a user's cell phone when they are out of the office. It also allows for a return mechanism whereby a SMS message may be sent via an email to the assigned user. - SMS forwarding
Further to this it also provides the facility to forward designated SMS messages received by the help desk to users. - Remote activation and deactivation
Coretalk enables a user to enable or disable the mechanism either with the click of a button or a remote code sent from a handset. - GPRS access to email
If you have been notified of an important email via SMS and have a laptop handy, then you can access your GPRS through your Coretalk and download the key email.
What are the benefits?
- Always connected, giving improved service levels: You will be informed once you have email. If you need to access the full email and attachments, you can use GPRS or another service.
- Low cost: You don't have to buy an expensive PDA as you can use your current cell phone.
- One device delivers the connectivity: Your cell phone keeps you totally informed, so no need to carry other devices.
- Simple to use and set-up
Examples
- Waiting for a critical email about a contract but need to be out of the office.
- A key order is due to arrive by email. Once this happens, several staff have to action aspects of it. These can be set up to run automatically on receipt.
- You won't go to a meeting that was cancelled but you were unaware because you were unable to access your mail.
