Mass & Group Communications
The Mass and Group Communication module provides the ability to send bulk SMS to individuals or groups, as well as manage those groups.
This product feature includes:
- Grouping of users
- Coretalk enables the profiling of a customer base and communication with various segments of that base as defined by a group.
- Consequently it is possible to profile customers, suppliers and employees for communication reasons.
- Grouping may support other segmentation such as locale, type of customer, relationship etc.
- Create hotkeys to send bulk messages.
- Bulk messages can be personalised using the SMS template system.
Remote Bulk SMS: Further to the ability to send out messages from the Coretalk system to groups, the system has the ability to receive an inward coming message from an isolated user, and if that user is authorised to send messages to a selected group, the system will automatically pass that message onto all members of the selected group.
Examples are:
A message sent to any such group will be delivered to all people within that group. This is invaluable in the following scenarios.
- I have received a new supply of product and I want to notify interested parties.
- I want to call a sales meeting for all my Sales force.
- I want to notify a group of people of a potential security problem.
- I want to notify my branch offices that we are running promotions on a certain product.
- I have a free appointment time due to cancellation and want to notify potential customers.
Example of remote bulk SMS are many and varied. They have positive implications under the following circumstances:
- I am on the road and I want to advise a group of people of a particular issue.
- I am a community member and notice a felony in my area; I would like this message to be delivered to the local police station, the area security company and other community members.
- I have a client that is interested in a product that I don't have in stock. I need to contact my partner outlets to see if they can help. I don't want to let the customer out of my shop as I know I would then lose the sale.
- I want to inform my fishing club that I have just caught the record snapper.
- I am selling AMWAY or other network products and would like my network to attend a function.
Warning!
Sending bulk messages to customers, without their consent is called spamming. You may end up with negative publicity if you engage in this practice. We do not condone the use of Coretalk for this purpose.
However, pertinent information that is well managed and distributed responsibly will be a fantastic promotional activity.
