Key Differentiators
CoreTalk is deployed via a modem and a software application installed on your computer. Each modem has a local Australian SIM card installed inside and this means that SMS messages are delivered directly from your computer onto the telecommunication network as opposed to going over the internet.
This has many benefits including:
- Better control and security: The SMS traffic is sent directly from your computer and does not go through a third party. There is thus no need to deal through a third party SMS provider and a business will have full control over their own contacts and transaction history.
- Lower costs: SMS costs are significantly lower as CoreTalk does not mark-up SMS messages. We only pass on the cost of the SMS from the telecommunication provider. Through our relationships with the telecommunications companies we have the capability to reduce SMS messaging down to around 4c an SMS for our customers, depending on usage.
- Fully interactive SMS messaging: CoreTalk is fully interactive. Any message sent from CoreTalk arrives on the receivers phone with a specific number attached and it is thus possible to reply and the message will be sent directly to the computer that sent the message.
- Reliability: CoreTalk has established relationship with a leading Australian Telecommunications Company. This means that all SMS messages are being delivered by reputable local telecommunications companies.
- Wireless Connectivity: CoreTalk provides wireless access to the internet via GPRS throughout most of Australia. As CoreTalk uses a modem installed on the computer to send an SMS, we also thus have the advantage of using the same modem to connect to the internet.
