The Australian operations of CoreTalk were launched in the first quarter of 2005.
CoreTalk Australia is the local distribution arm of Backbone Technologies, a telecommunications and technology development company, which has developed 2 products that it has taken to market.
The first product was PreChat, a distribution platform for the sale of prepaid mobile phone time, which is now in 7 countries around the world. This product is still being distributed. The second product is CoreTalk, an SMS and wireless communications tool for all businesses and verticals which is now in 4 countries and growing quickly.
CoreTalk Australia has Australian based management and technical support. Its local operations and support are based in George Street, in the Sydney CBD.
The founder is :
- Simon Bekker: Simon is a co-founder of CoreTalk Australia. He is also CEO and founder of Backbone Technologies. Simon has been involved in the technology and communication industry for more than 10 years and in that time has founded and set-up a number of successful businesses.
